Before & After

From Dated to Dream: A Primary Bathroom Transformation

ramish 1 min read

The primary bathroom in this 1980s home had not been touched since the house was built: a fiberglass tub-shower combo, a single small vanity, and dim, yellow-tinted lighting throughout.

The Challenge

The homeowners wanted a spa-like retreat without expanding the room’s footprint, on a timeline that worked around a new baby at home.

The Design Plan

We removed the tub entirely in favor of a large curbless shower with a bench, added a double vanity where a single sink used to sit, and installed radiant heated flooring throughout.

The Result

  • Curbless walk-in shower with frameless glass and a built-in bench
  • Double vanity with quartz counters and backlit mirrors
  • Radiant heated floors, controlled by a smart thermostat
  • Completed in five weeks with a dedicated project manager coordinating every trade

The homeowners now start every morning in a room that finally matches the rest of their newly renovated home.
